Teenager with radiation fibrosis who received treatment thanks to charitable transportation

In Her Family's Words...

"When McKenna was two years old, she was diagnosed with brain cancer. She beat it! However, the side effects of the treatment were devastating to her body. The radiation damaged her neck muscles and blood vessels, and also destroyed her pituitary gland. It's called Radiation Fibrosis. She's now nineteen years old."

"For the past five years, McKenna and I have had to travel across the country for treatment in order to keep her mobile and her pain controlled. The best doctors for her condition are in Atlanta, Georgia. We live in Oregon. It's getting harder and harder to afford travel for medical care."

"Mercy Medical Angels gave us commercial flights from our hometown airport to Atlanta. We really appreciate their help. It saves precious resources. Not to mention, it helps us to provide the necessary care and expertise so McKenna live the best life she can with less pain."

"All we have left to say is Thank You!"

~Laura, McKenna's mother
