Mercy Medical Angels helps patient access surgery for medical device

In Her Own Words...

"I have a very specific medical device that only a doctor in another state could address. I was having troubles with my device. It needed surgical attention. However, I needed to travel from my home in Alabama to Ohio where the doctor is. I’m single, with just my income. I also have cerebral palsy and use a manual wheelchair."

"I reached out to Mercy Medical Angels. Through the help of kind and friendly coordination staff, we were able to figure out what I needed, within days. I took a commercial flight with American Airlines, so there were no personal pilots. However, Mercy Medical Angels took the time to understand what kind of flight I needed, and what kind of support I needed from American Airlines, to put me in the proper form of transportation for my issue. Overall, my flight was great."

"Mercy Medical Angels allowed me to go see the surgeon and to get the issue taken care of. They increased my quality of life with transportation assistance, and they helped me maintain financial stability."

"Thank you, Mercy Medical Angels!"
