Cynda's Story, In Her Own Words

September 8, 2022

This is a subtitle for your new post

“I was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer in April 2021, 1 week before I was moving from Texas to Michigan. Luckily, my niece works for a fantastic medical hospital and made all the plans for my treatment when I got to Michigan. She found me the best oncologist and also found me a surgeon.”

“I go to chemo treatment every other week, 2 to 3 times. Each treatment takes about 5-6 hours. The trip from my home to the hospital is 60 miles in the car one way. I needed help with gas because I’m unemployed, and the state can’t help at this time.”

“Mercy Medical Angels gave me gas cards so I can drive to and from treatment. Being able to travel to get chemo treatment, and being less stressed about the cost of gas, is a big help. I appreciate your help going forward for my upcoming treatments. I hope to get funds soon and help give back what I have received.”
