Cancer patient after receiving care, thanks to charitable ground transportation

In Her Own Words...

Dear Mercy Medical Angels,

I am writing to express my profound gratitude for the incredible support and assistance you have provided me during my treatment journey. As a patient traveling from Mississippi to the Mary Bird Cancer Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the two-hour trip one way for my numerous appointments has been an immense challenge. Without the charitable ground transportation support through gas cards that you provide, I truly do not know how I could have managed this arduous journey.

Your organization has lived up to its name, acting as my guardian angels in a time of great need. The burden of travel and the associated costs could have been overwhelming, but your generosity and commitment have made my treatment process far more manageable. The relief and peace of mind you have given me are beyond words.

I would especially like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Shalia Stewart and Taylor Barbour. Their kindness, professionalism, and unwavering support have been a beacon of hope for me. Every call and email I have made has been met with prompt and compassionate responses, making me feel valued and cared for. Their dedication to helping patients like myself is truly inspiring.

While I wish I had better words to convey my gratitude, please know that what you have done for me will never be forgotten. Your assistance has made an immeasurable difference in my life, allowing me to focus on my treatment and recovery without the added stress of transportation logistics and costs.

Thank you once again for all that you do. Mercy Medical Angels has made a lasting impact on my life, and I will forever be grateful for your support.

With deepest appreciation,

Shannon
