Patient with gallbladder cancer after receiving gas cards to Mayo Clinic

In Her Own Words...

"In January 2021, I was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer. I was told to go home and get my things in order, as there was practically no chance of surviving this. It was already in stage 4 and growing fast. The cancer eventually spread to my liver. I didn't know what to do."

"Mayo Clinic has a team of oncologists that specialize in advanced cancers like mine. They're a seven-hour drive from my home. I feel safer when my husband is driving, and he's happy to do that. The only problem is that we can't afford gas. We needed help."

"Mercy Medical Angels gave us assistance by sending us prepaid gas cards. Driving back and forth to Mayo Clinic is expensive, so these gas cards are really appreciated. I have to say that my quality of live has improved since receiving help from Mercy Medical Angels."

"Three and a half years after being told I wouldn't live much longer, I'm still here. And I have Mercy Medical Angels to thank for that."
