In His Own Words...
"I was diagnosed with malignant neoplasm of the prostate, stage 3. Unfortunately, I live in a rural area and can't access care in my hometown. The best hospital to treat me is in Rochester, New York - a 90 minute drive away from home. The cost of gas is getting almost too high to afford. I applied for assistance at Mercy Medical Angels. They sent me gas cards so I could offset some of the cost. This is all new to me, but I'm grateful I don't have to navigate it alone."
